LinkedIn is going in wrong way for the students specially, they think it's a platform to get the job but the game is opposite.
Firstly, I wanna tell you all about this post is according to my experience that I have gotten from my social network and from my practical life experience. Well, Why I need to write on this topic here today because I was feeling very uncomfortable when I see usually in my LinkedIn network, mostly the students think and mostly use it for getting the job after their graduation, and mostly the professionals want to get the job from LinkedIn but the game is opposite nowadays and from the beginning I think.


LinkedIn, actually a platform in the network as like other so many we've nowadays in this technology Era, but the LinkedIn is for linking the professional people around the world, For making the connections between developed country's students/professionals with other countries' people. but most of us think about job job job and that's all about LinkedIn but we've other so many platforms as like Facebook where people come more than LinkedIn So why they don't use it to have the job? The reason is just we are listening from most people that LinkedIn is the place for professionals and they will give you the job.





What I have learned from my experience and What I want to share in summarize it as;


  • An employer doesn't need to use LinkedIn every time to get employees, they have a lot of paths to get highly skilled employees for their business, they can get easily by advertisement.
  • People who use LinkedIn, most of them are the employee of any organisation So how can they give you placement, You just need to learn first then start to earn as I learn from my teacher that "first learn then remove the 'L' from learn (Earn)".
  • For getting experience, you have to drop your CV in an official way, from the official website or by hand.
  • Remember that NO any employee or HR manager get your cv for the job from LinkedIn. It's just a platform to see what's going on in the world of your field.


What you've to do now, firstly focus in your study, secondly search what's going on in the world about your field by making the connections in social networks as LinkedIn as well as Facebook. I use Facebook more than LinkedIn because I believe that Facebook makes me more helpful to join communities and platforms according to my field, as there are a lot of pages, groups and peoples who share knowledge as in LinkedIn too. These all just for getting knowledge and that's all. So don't waste your precious time to search any job from LinkedIn, You can find the job in the local advertisement way or from official websites or platform of the employers.
